Gorgeous location. Amazing views. Birds flocking right out the front and back door as they feast on tidal mud flats (better at low tide) at Mary's Point. Exceptionally located mid way between Alma / Fundy and Hopewell Rocks. Daphne and Des are fantastic hosts. Clean rooms, good breakfasts

Wonderful stay. Peaceful and an amazing place yo watch the Fundy Bay tides come and go. The hosts, Desire and Daphnee are lovely and share wonderful historical information. A great escape to relax and unwind. Even had an eagle visit during breakfast.

What a fantastic stay! The home, garden, and scenery were all beautiful - the sunset view was unreal! You can see the effort put into updating and maintaining the historic home. The true gems of this bed and breakfasts are its owners Daphne and Desi who welcomed us with open arms and shared their pride for the region with us. Breakfast was phenomenal and we enjoyed eating at the dining table with the other guests. (They offered a great pescatarian option for those who don't eat bacon.) We were three people and stayed in the "Mellow Yellow" room, which had a queen bed and single cot. The beds were super clean and comfy and we all slept very well. The room also had incredible views of the adjacent lighthouse, dam, and marshy area. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here and already wish I could go back!

Thank you to Desi and Daphne for being wonderful hosts and opening up your home to us. From the moment we arrived you both were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. Felt like you were family and knew you my whole life. Your house has so much history and the area as well. Stunning views of the area. Loved sitting on the porch looking at the view of the river and hills in the background. The rooms were very clean, comfortable bed , and each room had their own washroom and shower, also very clean. Love the magic taps! Breakfast was great. Desi, you make fantastic coffee and breakfast. Thanks for telling me your secret to making good eggs - little olive oil and little butter. You two are wonderful people and it was an absolute pleasure meeting you both. Our family really enjoyed our stay and we would recommend your place to anyone. I’ll have to come back for your tomatoes Desi.

As others have already summarised, great hosts, a beautifully renovated 200 year-old house, comfy rooms, and a cooked breakfast. Enjoyed meeting other guests at the communal breakfast table as well and swapping stories about the sights we'd seen in the area.

Desi and Daphne were wonderful hosts who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The well earned pride in the rebuilding of their home was very evident. Thankful they shared it with us. The views from the veranda were beautiful including Desi’s beloved sandpipers. We were in the lavender room. Comfortable bed. Everything was very clean including bath and shower. Loved the solitude after a long day of travel. Breakfasts were wonderful. Enjoyed the conversation with other guests. Mountainview Solitude Inn is the perfect name for this gem.

Quiet remote location between Fundy national park and Hopewell rocks for daily hikes. Easy drive to towns for dinner and lunch. Hearty breakfast served which was awesome since there are no other restaurants nearby. Note that some booking.com options say no breakfast, but as an actual BnB they do serve breakfast. Contact directly if you are unsure. Hosts were awesome and informative.
